Blåklint Wool Throw 130x180 cm
Blåklint is a classic throw in 100% soft lambswool, inspired by hand-printed wallpapers and decorative stencil paintings found in 18th-century manor houses in the Swedish province of Uppland, including Vallhov Manor and Landsberga Royal Manor. The ultramarine blue pattern carries clear traces of historic interiors and traditional craftsmanship.
The name comes from the cornflower, which is the official provincial flower of Östergötland, a region in southern Sweden. The result is a throw with a distinct historical character that still feels at home in a modern interior. Just as beautiful draped over a sofa as wrapped around your shoulders on a cool evening.
The wool comes from New Zealand and from growers licensed under Wool Integrity NZ™, meaning the sheep are well treated and mulesing is not practised. The throw is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and tested for harmful substances.
