Nils Olsson Hemslöjd
Nils Olsson Dala Hemslöjd are synonymous with genuine Swedish craftsmanship and tradition. Production in Nusnäs, Dalarna, began in 1928 when brothers Nils and Jannes Olsson founded their workshop. Since then, both the Dala horse and the classic Dala rooster have become strong symbols of Swedish craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Each horse and rooster is hand-carved and hand-painted with the same care and precision as in the early days.
Both the Dala horse and Dala rooster carry a rich history, shaped by skilled hands and a love for traditional craft. From generation to generation, the techniques and passion live on, with each piece uniquely decorated with kurbits patterns and classic shapes.
