The Dalatupp is an old symbol of vigilance and has been made by Nils Olsson in Nusnäs, Dalarna, Sweden, since 1928. In the same village where the first Dala horses took shape, the craft lives on, and each Dalatupp is still carved and painted by hand.
This means that no two roosters are exactly alike. Small variations in shape and painting are a natural part of the process and give each piece its own character. Dalatupp Yellow is 34 cm tall and works well as a decorative detail in the home, on a shelf or as part of a collection.
