Round Solid Wood Cutting Board Ø 29 cm
A round solid wood cutting board crafted from bond-sawn timber in Värmland, Sweden. The wood comes from the Larsson brothers’ small-scale sawmill in Rud, where timber from their own forest is slowly air-dried. Each board includes the coordinates of its place of origin, so you can see exactly where the tree once grew.
A blend of birch, oak, juniper, cherry, aspen, ash and bird cherry creates a surface with natural color variations and distinct grain patterns. The slow-grown hardwood has a dense structure that makes the board durable and resistant to marks. The round shape makes this cutting board especially suitable for serving bread, cheese or simple dishes directly at the table. At the same time, it works just as well for everyday food preparation in the kitchen.
The board is treated with food-safe mineral oil and finished with a blend of linseed oil and beeswax. With proper care, it will last for many years.
Each board has its own character. Grain and color vary naturally from piece to piece.
- Rinse in lukewarm water after use and dry immediately. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Oil regularly to maintain the surface. If needed, the board can be lightly sanded and re-oiled.
