Little By Little

Little By Little creates wooden products where the origin and natural character of the material take centre stage. The cutting boards in our collection are made from traditionally sawn timber from Värmland, Sweden, using wood from small-scale forestry that is slowly air-dried to let the material develop at its own pace.

Each cutting board carries a trace of where it comes from. Natural variations in colour and grain make every piece unique, while coordinates linked to the tree’s original growing place make it possible to trace the material back to its source.

A mix of Swedish woods including birch, oak, juniper, cherry, aspen, ash and bird cherry gives the boards both character and durability. The result is functional kitchenware designed to be used often, age beautifully and look good enough to keep on display.

Little By Little combines small-scale production, traceable materials and a simple Scandinavian expression – everyday objects with a strong sense of wood, place and longevity.
