Wooden Box Squirrel
A handcrafted wooden box in cherry wood where your small belongings have a place of their own. On the lid sits a hand-carved squirrel, adding character while making it easy to lift off the lid. The carved surface creates a soft play of light and shadow that highlights the wood’s warm tone and natural grain.
The box is inspired by traditional shrink pots and made entirely from wood, without nails or screws. It holds jewelry, keys, and other small items that tend to be left lying around. Equally at home on a bedside table, in the hallway, or on a desk. Each box is unique, with natural variations in color and grain. Dark marks may occur and are traces of resin pockets in the wood, giving every piece its own character. The surface is treated with wood oil and can be re-oiled when needed.
