Dala Wooden Rooster crafted by Nils Olsson in Nusnäs, Dalarna, Sweden. Nusnäs is one of the original villages where the very first Dalahorses were made, and it has been the birthplace of the Dala Rooster since 1928. Each rooster is carved and painted by hand, so every product is unique, just as it should be with true handicraft.
