TOYO Steel Company

Japanese company Toyo Steel Co. Ltd was founded in 1969 in the Kansai region of Osaka, an area known for its strong steel industry. The name Toyo roughly means “east–west” and reflects the ambition to build a bridge between Japan and the Western world. The company was the first in the world to develop a method for manufacturing seamless steel toolboxes from a single piece of steel, a technique that makes them exceptionally durable and long-lasting.
