Soap Havet Seaweed
A mild and moisturizing full-body soap with silky lather and the fresh scent of sea breeze, enriched with a subtle umami note from sugar kelp. The fragrance is bright with citrus, featuring clear marine notes and a pleasant hint of herbs. Handmade in Gothenburg using organic ingredients, entirely free from palm oil and unnecessary additives.
The soap was developed in collaboration with Skärgårdshotellet on Hönö, where it’s also used by hotel guests. The scent is inspired by the feeling of taking a deep breath by a roaring sea — refreshing, invigorating, and uplifting.
The base consists mainly of nutrient-rich shea butter, which makes the soap extra creamy and gentle on the skin. Coconut oil contributes firmness and fluffy lather, while avocado oil lends a silky feel. Cold-pressed rapeseed oil from Bohuslän adds extra nourishment, and a splash of castor oil gives the lather stability and care.
The sugar kelp, said to have a soothing effect on the skin, is grown and hand-harvested by Ten Island Seafarm in the northern archipelago of Gothenburg. Thanks to its nourishing formula, the soap also works wonderfully as a shampoo bar — especially for hair in need of moisture and volume.
The soap can also be used in saltwater. Let it dry on a well-drained soap dish between uses to make it last even longer.
