Åhls rand

Åhls Rand draws inspiration from the classic striped textiles seen in many traditional Swedish folk costumes. The stripes, in varying colors and widths, have traditionally been used in vests and aprons, giving each costume its own character.

At Skansen, we have preserved this cultural heritage and reinterpreted it in textiles for every room in the home. Today, Åhls Rand appears on everything from cushion covers and tablecloths to napkins, where the striped expression is given new life through its simple and timeless design.

Åhls Rand celebrates Swedish textile tradition and allows a living heritage to carry on – just as we do with our entire Skansen collection.
