Knäck & Bräck

Knäck & Bräck is a Swedish family-owned company founded in 2008 in Östra Tunhem, just north of Falköping in Västra Götaland. The company is owned and run by Annalena Brage and Niclas Geidvall, based on a clear principle – only the finest ingredients are good enough.

All crispbread is baked in-house using ancient grains such as spelt and emmer, cultivated locally. Flour is delivered directly from nearby farms, including producers like Wästgötarna and Berte Qvarn. Ingredients are carefully selected, free from additives, sugar, yeast, or added fats. Seeds, berries, and toppings are sourced as much as possible from Swedish producers.

The production combines tradition with innovation, blending ancient grains with modern flavors and unique shapes. These heritage grains offer high nutritional value and naturally low GI, contributing to both taste and well-being.

Over the years, Knäck & Bräck has delivered products to customers both in Sweden and internationally – including the Swedish Royal Family at Drottningholm, Harrods in London, Globus in Zurich, and Stockmanns in Helsinki. The crispbread is available through various retailers and has become a recognized symbol of Swedish craftsmanship and rural tradition.
