Iris Hantverk

Iris Hantverk produces brushes according to a Swedish craft tradition that has lived on since the late 19th century. At the brush-binding workshop in Enskede, just outside Stockholm, each brush is made by hand by skilled visually impaired artisans – a precise craft where technique, materials, and tactile sensitivity come together in every detail. The company has strong ties to the visually impaired community and also collaborates with artisans in Estonia, helping this tradition and sense of connection continue to grow in multiple places.

The brushes are made from natural materials such as birch, oak, and carefully selected bristles suited for everything from gentle facial care to robust cleaning. Our selection includes nail brushes, dish brushes, bath brushes, hair brushes, and short-handled yard brooms, as well as natural pumice stones for body care. Each product is designed to combine function and form with durability and a deep respect for traditional materials.
