Ånäbben
Since 2008, Ånäbben has been making jam from Swedish berries picked in the forests of Uppland, Sweden and Hälsingland, Sweden. In the newly renovated kitchen Syltgaraget in Örsundsbro, Sweden, the berries are gently transformed into jam with a high berry content and clean, honest flavours. No flavourings or colourings are used here – only carefully selected ingredients that let the natural taste of the berries shine.
It’s small-scale craftsmanship where every batch gets the time it needs. Most of the ingredients are harvested by the makers themselves, while the remaining fruits come from local gardens and pick-your-own orchards. The result is jam with a clear berry character – just as good at breakfast as it is in baking, or as a flavourful detail in everyday cooking.
With its focus on Swedish berries and locally produced goods, Ånäbben shows how quality ingredients and traditional craftsmanship can elevate flavour from start to finish.
