Wool has natural dirt-repelling properties and, therefore, does not need to be washed as frequently. Hang the plaid out and air it on a day when the weather is damp. Machine wash at 30 degrees using the wool program. Wash separately. Iron at a medium temperature. Do not tumble dry. Do not use bleach.
